HedgeStart is management owned and independently minded, with our team having a broad range of direct experience building companies within the investment industry. This grounding is behind our unique perspective, and our pragmatic, commercial and common-sense approach. Although individual partners head their respective teams, we encourage interaction across disciplines to add value and we continue to add to the breadth and depth of the firm by investing in talented people with complementary skills.
Our clients understand the need for efficient structuring and robust operations. They recognise them to be as critical to the success of the enterprise as investment performance and raising assets. By offering practical and cost-effective solutions to our clients, we fulfil our philosophy to build long-term partnerships becoming much more than just a service provider.
Typically it starts with an initial, informal meeting to simply discuss plans and ideas and by investing a great deal into this phase, we aim to fully understand a client’s aims and objectives. Then continual tailoring of our services to our clients’ changing needs, enables us to remain an integral part of their business as they develop.
As required, services may be taken singly or in combination, as appropriate to the business and budget as we appreciate the importance of cost control and are therefore transparent with our pricing, quoting fixed prices for services where possible. And our flexibility means that services may be added or removed, without penalty, at any time.
Our “open door” policy means that we are always happy to help an entrepreneurial venture at whatever stage it is at and although we keep the “HedgeStart” name, our client spectrum now covers the full range of investment company types, and the greater part of our business is from ongoing relationships. Further proof of the soundness of our offering is that we rely almost exclusively on client and industry referral for new business.
